The section is called Cabbagetown and is just outside the downtown. The homes were built in the 1890's to house the people coming from Appalachia to work in the cotton and fabric mills. It has recently undergone a revival, with young professionals moving in and renovating the homes. There is a nice neighborhood feel to it.
