Feeding the Insatiable Beast of Data Storage

Mac, please say hello to your new backup drives "Rukia" and "Yoruichi", they will be working with you from today.

Taken in a light tent using 2 off camera flashes (main high left and front for accent light, second low right and middle to remove shadows on the side of the light tent) plus using 2 20" LCD monitors as if they were back light soft boxes.
Editing's a bit rough (edge of masking for blowing out background)... sorry but for PoD stuff I'm not inclined to spend more than a few minutes in Photoshop

I could, I guess, bore you to tears with stories such as about my first 100MB hard disk, how it cost almost a month's salary and that many of the IT people I worked with back then thought that was an insane amount of storage that I'd never need..... now I have a computer with 1TB internal and (as of today) 4TB of external hard disk space.

....but it struck me how things have changed that I can calmly pick up 1 TB ( 1 Terabyte or 1000 GB actually 2x 500GB here) from off of the shelf of, not even a computer shop, but rather a _discount_store_ for less than a week's wages.... .... I feel sooooo old
