I ordered this delicious yarn and loved the feel and colour of it...it cried out for some photographs...it's now been made into a beautiful pair of socks...I'll show you them later....

Time to take down the decorations...doesn't the place look empty without them??
We took the decorations round to the garage where Barry noticed his keyboeard and now he is serenading me...ahhh blisssss!
We got back from the garage only to see one single Christmas decoration taunting me because we forgot it!! haha

Barry and I got a Madhur Jaffrey Indian cookery book yesterday, a joint present, now he is going through the book and keeps coming out with exotic ingredients...chapatti flour being the most recent... It wouldn't be so bad but we live in the sticks and to get this stuff is going to cause me a headache, especially as there is still loads to do and I'm not sure that food shopping is high on my list right now...the crowds....yuk....
How is everyone doing? Calm? Happy? I am feeling just fine, happy and content....must get on, Barry made the roof and sides of a gingerbread house yesterday, it just needs gluing together with icing today..which reminds me...I think we need an icing bag!
This is Maddie, I love her pose here!
We have been busy, Maisie is now with us and Christmas is here!! We are going for a walk into the Village in a minute for some festive browsing in the wonderful Gallery (
http://www.haddenhamgallery.co.uk/ ) that houses such interesting arty gifts! My eldest daughter, Millie and Maddie's Mum, supplies them with her arty creations that she makes using her knitting needles and crochet hooks!
I'll try and post more over the hols but time is precious right now!
Merry Christmas PBasers!!!

I've been so busy lately that I have neglected this photo blog....
Last weekend, Barry and I spent a really wonderful time looking after my two granddaughters. We had such fun but boy do they use up our energy, not helped by the fact that I was going down with a virus, almost over that now though and feel a bit more smiley!
I am busy making some more Christmas cards and have added snow to one of my favourite photos of Maisie walking up a back street of Cambridge with a red umbrella, the shot is totally changed to what it originally was but it works well! I used a tutorial on the WWW for adding realistic snow in Photoshop, it was great fun to do, if any of you would like the link then drop me a line!

Yesterday, Barry and I met up with a bunch of photographers from a forum that we frequent. We got up really early because it was a long drive, about 180 miles!!
What a great time we had with this sociable, happy bunch of people....the best photo meet we've ever been on and I know we will meet up again soon.
I haven't really used my camera much lately but the shots I got of yesterday have really inspired me to take more. I will post more in their own album...
