Notice: these photos are merely a simulation, no actual lo-tech Lomas were harmed, or even used in their creation.
These were all shot with the digicams and DSLRs listed in exif info, with attention paid to correct exposure, wb, saturation, etc., only to be distorted using PS actions and scripts designed to emulate the wacky and wonderful world of the Lomo.
So, hyper-saturation, high contrast, blur, viginetting, etc. are all purposeful; these Lomo traits are further emphasized by emulating cross-proscessing, in which film intended for developing in slide chemistry (E-6) is processed in photographic negative chemistry (C-41).
**I make no claim of following the '10 golden rules of Lomography' as describes on the website above, but rather I've appropriated the Lomo look for my own shallow, aesthetic ends :)
