Comet 2/2006 P1 McNaught, discovered August 2006 at Siding Springs Observatory, Coonabarabran NSW, Australia by Robert McNaught. These photos were takes on January 18 at the Granny Smith Gold Mine near Laverton, Western Australia. It was my first foray into stellar photography, and you can probably guage from the camera settings that I have virtually no idea. However, you can at least see the comet in some of the photos, so that's a start.
