From Moņtanita I took another long bus trip back through Santa Elena and Guayaquil to Riobamba, where I spent 1 night. It is a nice little town, but there is nothing there to keep you there for more than 1 night unless you go on the Devil's Nose Railway (I didn't). From Riobamba I moved on to Baņos.
