Message from Mark Newman
I am a professional writer-photographer working in the Midwest. Two of my passions are music and sports, so I am fortunate to get the opportunity to cover both in the process of my work.
Although I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I travel to shows in Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Milwaukee and points in between. I enjoy progressive rock and symphonic metal, but I appreciate good music of all types. Baseball and hockey are my two favorite sports to shoot, and you couldn't find two that are more different. Both have their challenges, although I think if you can shoot hockey, you can shoot just about anything.
