A pair of adult bald eagles was first observed during the spring of 2006,
fishing on the Milwaukee River just north of Brown Deer Road. Since then, they have
built a nest along the river in Mequon, WI. They are a young couple, so experts believe
they will not reproduce this year.
This is the first time in over 100 years
that bald eagles have nested in this area of Wisconsin.
Awesome pics. I just saw one of the Eagles on 5/18/07 when I was driving north on I43, just south of Mequon Road.

I saw a bald Eagle over The Milwaukee River at River Edge Court on 1/1507 7:40AM.
I almost didn't believe it ...but it stayed around for about a minute and a half.
