my son and i found a beetle pupa in an old rotted tree trunk so we decided to keep it and watch it grow and form. it was for his science since i homeschool. we thought it would be a darkling beetle but we just checked on it and it turned out to be a click beetle! too cool! i love these beetles and my son learned a lot about them!
