Sinulog is a yearly celebration in Cebu City in honor of the Child Jesus, Santo Nino. The celebration draws hundreds of thousands of devotee. It starts with a Fluvial Procession, a reinactment of how the Spanish conquestador Ferdinand Magellan brought in the image of the Child Jesus in 1521. This is then follow by a religious procession around the city. Then the street dancing follows the following day, that usually falls on a Sunday.
