The Vosges hold the record as the most wooded mountain range in France. They are perfect for hiking, with some 15,500 km of footpaths that are well marked-out and maintained. Gentle, rounded slopes and moderate altitute provide hikers with varying levels of difficulty, so that there is something for everyone.
