The Arlberg mountains are not far from our home, Strasbourg ;
four-hour drive.
some paths are not too steep for bad hikers like me...

August 2014,
we went back to the Tyrol for hiking in the Pitztal and Oetztal and the northwestern part of Tyrol, unfortunately the weather was not very good, however the area is beautiful and the mountain air is so fresh and invigorating.

I visited at the very start of this gallery, and it has now grown to a magnificent illustration of the beauty of the Austria Alps and meadows.An absolutely stunning gallery.
We were in the area at the beginning of June, and were lucky to have caught the only bit of good summer weather they have had this year,but like you I love it there, whatever the weather.
