And still it stands, even in ruins. I doubt that our modern buildings would fare as well over the centuries. Nevertheless, your photo shows how nature is slowly reclaiming the structure. Moss, vines, grasses and trees slowly infiltrate the walls to return the stones to earth. It is quite dramatic.
