Estany Llong: it is an elongated lake, in the shape of a half moon, where in the summer cows and mares graze in the alpine pastures. The left bank is covered by a pretty black pine wood with rhododendron, whereas the right bank is deforested. The Festuca paniculata pastures that cover it and the rock beds are one of the favourite spots for Pyrenean mountain goats. At the end, you’ll see a large mountain pass: El Portarró d’Espot.
