he says "Bonjour!"
But he has not too much mail to deliver here,
it's at the end of his morning tour.

Nice shot! What a jovial postman! My postwoman doesn't ring, say bonjour, or much of anything for that matter. Maybe if she had a cool ride like this she would have that smile and demeanor also. :-)
