Moody little dog

Prangins (VD) -Switzerland

Honestly I’m not too fond of dogs, mostly little ones.
But I respect all animals.
So I deeply dislike people who humanize their pets and get fanatic for them.
It seems to me a way to deprive an animal of its natural dignity.
This little dog looked moody and furious, parked in a corner, during its morning walk.
Maybe it had also to stand a session at the dog hairdresser
to look soooo cuuuuteeee
I’m sure his mistress would claim to adooooore her little baaaaaaby.
Because pets are so much better than human…
Little dog, you have all my sympathy,
I deeply hope you will bite her in her calf, when she’s back.

You live in a colourful country Marisa..it's as if someone has taken a brush and made a sunny day...I love the mix and the balance of colours. K

This is most beautifully artistic and terribly disturbing. It deeply distressing me when I see people tie up their "beloved" pets so unkindly. One of the places I see the most animal cruelty (in my often not humble opinion) is at dog shows. Witness this poor gorgeous dachshund, forced to remain in this position so he doesn't disturb his careful grooming (and also won't jump off the table): http://www.pbase.com/isabel95/image/44689978

Cute dog!..No wonder it feels moody tied so closely in this corner. I feel sorry for him.
Very well composed and the beautiful paving & bright colour on the corner adds well as a contrasting gaiety to the dogs pleading face.
Ciao Rob

Uh-oh, I'm sure you lost some friends today, but I couldn't agree with you more. Otherwise, nice shot. It's hard to avoid the dog when you have those beautiful stones drawing you into the picture. Nice palette, too.
