A walk to discover rue Meynadier, a pedestrian old street where there is a concentration of gastronomic food shops.
You might read the word “ La Socca” on a street sign.
Socca is the name given to a culinary specialty made of chickpea flour and olive oil; it’s a large and very thin cake baked into a pizza oven in large round copper plates. Once cooked, the cake has a golden colour and must be eaten, immediately, when it’s still very hot.
It’s a typical street food, already popular in the Middle Age.
