Josselin - A village of Bretagne

Josselin - Bretagne (France)

During our stay in Rennes we took a couple of day trips to visiting two villages of the area.

Here will follow a little series of photos documenting our visit of Josselin.

Josselin is a beautiful medieval village set on the river Oust,
boasting a delightful 12th Century turreted castle overlooking the river,
many 16th century half-timbered buildings and the gargoyled Basilique Notre Dame du Roncier (our Lady of the Brambles)
with its beautiful 15th and 16th century stained glass windows.

An impressive scene. Good use of the natural lines of the river, road and castle flowing into the distance. V

What a beautiful castle. I can't even imagine living in one, or heating one, etc. One could get lost in there for sure! Beautiful image yet again my friend.

Beautiful work here, the composition and depth are superb. The reflection understated.
I like how you used the same red of the cars to make the title which then pulled the eyes away from the cars. The cars being the only unavoidable flaw in the scene.
Excellent.
Bet this would make a great night shot

Fabulous! If we ever go to France, we will visit these smaller cities and villages. You inspire us with your ventures. Voted
