Speaking of clichés...How is it possible to be in La Rochelle without taking photos of its towers?
Oh, well I’ll try to capture also other aspects of the town, more low-profile, I will...
But the towers.... ah, the three towers, they are in a way distant from the people who walk around them, who climb up their stairs, who look at them, then, at the same time they are in deep interconnection with the town, they are the witnesses of the past.
So I’m, like all the other visitors, victim of the charm of the towers.
Here is St. Nicolas tower at low tide...the ocean is withdrawing, but as always it will come back.
