Such an interesting composition ... the smiling snowman and the shadowy forest seem to be similar - that is both rather dark and a little strange, but the children and their 'red jacketed' companion brighten the scene in a playful and reassurring way. Yes, this image does invite us to use our imagination. And how fun is that! ~V~

Nice arrangement; the mixture of light and shadow (both in the background and foreground, and around the snowman), and the relative position of the snowman and the people. Even though it's not symmetrical it still feels "balanced".
