During my trip to London I could resist going to the Millenium Bridge near St Paul's Cathedral. I would have loved to have walked over it when they first opened it because it wobbled due to the resonance created from the people walking across it.

However, since then the design engineers have fitted dampers to the bridge so it is nearly solid as a rock which spoils the fun, but doesn't make people feel sick!

Despite the initial flaws it is a beautiful bridge across the Thames.
