After years of shooting with 35mm film SLRs loaded with (Fujichrome) slide film, I have now switched to digital photography almost completely.
Yet, I still enjoy working 'the old fashioned way', slowly and painstakingly perfecting the framing, and then patiently waiting for that fleeting moment when the light is perfect in all its glory.
I am a firm believer in 'getting it right in camera', and after I trip the shutter, I know the magic is over. Just like in the film days.
Ultimately, my goal is to communicate the feelings that a scene inspired in me when I was there, as if each photograph were an open window onto the world.
