To my cousin Mark and Michael your pictures of Ehtel and Lucy are totally amazing, beautiful, funny, lovable and simply gorgeous shot of the girls, once again, they are blessed to have you and Michael as their parents. Signing the guest book.

I loved hanging out with the photographer in these galleries. Some photos did bring me back although I might have some photos of the times I would sleep over. Thinking that maybe I'll scan them and email them. Remember that floppy hippie hat? Mark I miss you and it was great to talk with you. Peace and Love ~ Dawn

Thankyou for the great photos and the trip down memory lane. I used to visit Old Westbury Gardens when I lived on Long Island in the 90's. I have some similiar photos. I miss being able to visit there, the gardens provided me with some of my best photos. Lynette from Minnesota

Hey there.
I wanted to thank you guys for having gone to Montréal:-) I am a college student trying to decide where I want to go for my exchange year, and your pictures really helped me out to see what a great city Montréal is! So thanks! You wouldn't by any chance be going to Caen, France anytime soon?:-) Would help me out alot!
Thanks. Christine from Copenhagen, Denmark.

Thank you for allowing me the nice visit to Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. I discovered today that my husband's great, great grandparents are buried there. We live in Iowa, so there is no way we will ever be able to visit that cemetery. We do enjoy walking through cemeteries and viewing the statuary and the memorials, looking for a particular name or not. The autumn trees were gorgeous, and the picture with the skyline was especially nice. The mourning picture of Kaydouh surprised and touched me, the bear on the Beard monument brought a smile, and the sad story of the 17-year-old who died was very touching. Thank you for taking those pictures and taking the time to put them online so I could view the cemetery. Ann

Sorry Marchael, my mistake, I mean adding to your topic not gallery. I love cats and hope other people can share those lovely pictures too.
Marchael 06-Feb-2006 03:50
pow, can I ask why you want me to add these to my gallery? I can add them to my topic but not my gallery as they're not my photos, but I'm curious as to why you want me to add them.
pow 06-Feb-2006 03:01

Thanks for the generous comments on my photographs...! Much appreciated. Already started laughing at the self-deprecating humour in some of your shots; and enjoyed my first run through the Montréal gallery... -- will come back for more!

Great tattoo photos. I know what you mean about the people not "posing" long enough for a good shot. I have been shooting tattoo conventions out here on the west coast for a few years. Just as a fan. The last show, "Tattoo Expo" in Pomona Ca. I was asked by the pomoter to become the official photographer for his events......."Holy Crap" I'm just a guy who likes to take pictures, not a real photographer!....Oh well, now I get free passees to all the shows. Thanks for sharing, Rick

Thanks for the nice comment on my PaD today. Yawning cats are hard for me, too! Even though I caught him yawning three times & had my camera set on continuous drive mode, I still only got one usable shot. I enjoyed looking through your galleries. I particularly liked your photo of 42nd Street & the Temple of Dendur (great reflection shot!).

Glad that my photo brought back good memories of good food and fun times--- isn't that what photography is all about--- to help you remember the times of your life!!!
Merci!!!

Hello Mark and Michael!
It was nice to find traces of your visit over our visual world. Come back when you feel like, both of you are always welcome! It's interesting to discover your galleries too. Did you work constantly together on every picture or simply post all your pictures together, but take them in a separate way? What is the basic principle of your galleries in common?
Many of your images are very enjoyable!
Thank you!

Thanks for the comments on my pictures. I have been away for awhile and just checked my comments, thanks again and happy shooting.

Marchael, Thank you for your comments on my photos of the abandoned dogs. Unfortunately, the shelters are all full. My husband and I also rescue dogs, but they're all large and/or giant breeds. Of course right now we are full too. )c: We're posting their pictures everywhere and hopefully the puppies will have homes soon. The local Dalmatian rescue said they could take the Momma, but we want her babies placed before she gets rescued.

I noticed you were asking for feedback on your photos. A GREAT website is www.digitalimagecafe.com. I'm pretty sure that's the web address. If not, just put digital image cafe in any search engine and you'll find it. It's a wonderful place to learn and make friends.
Good luck!

Marchael,

I have both camera's plus the Olympus C-730. I had the Rebel for close to a year before I picked up the 20D. The Rebel is an awesome camera, but the 20D is way ahead. Start up time and frames per second alond with the real body (not plastic) are outstanding. You can see images I took with all at my PBase site http://www.pbase.com/cathboy The Sports section has the best images.

Hope this helps.

Miles

Great galleries: I don't know if the mail room is working so here is what I have on the 300 or the 20D.
Because of the studio lights that I have, I did not have the hookup that I needed. I always used the Blad for my shot. I decided to go total digital and I need that feature. Cost wise, the 300 is about $900 less. I do like the 8.2 mega over the 6 on the 300. If you can afford the difference, go with the 20D, it is the best for the price.
I hope this helps

Paul
