Bratislava, Slovakia

Photo's I made using my Sony F707 during my 4-day working trip to Slovakia, end of June 2002. Most photo's are of the "Old City" of Bratislava which is really beautiful with a nice atmosphere. Outside this old city, all buidings are bright grey, dark grey or just grey; really depressing. Check out for more information on Bratislava

Good grief. Nothing like reading rude comments to make your day complete. Come on folks, stop getting so personal! Coming from Canada, where we're not even 200 years old, all of Europe is valuable and beautiful for all the history involved, even though you personally might not like the look of all the buildings or whatever...it's still fascinating! Appreciate what you've got!

Of course girls in Bratislava care about money! The damn town is expensive and many of them are from eastern Slovensko where they were poor. The thing is though, they qare still approachable and without the goth look in girls from Vienna (or the depressing face they put on to the world).

What an utterly nonsense about these gery buildings! I've been around quite a bit and have seen far more grey buildings in West Europe than East Europe... And Bratislava a shithole according to that fucking Italian? He lost the plot a bit I think: just go back to your black or fake blonde italian girls, now they are easy (NOT AT ALL!!!) In Rome they just rip you off. Slovak girls will not fall for the macho Italian style, you weirdo! They prefer men from west and north or just from eastern Europe, southern europeans: forget it!!!

Sadly, all cities in the former Eastern Block (Europe) have these gray buildings. Next time go to Petrzalka to see a grey city of almost 200.000.
