Next time,try entering by the top of the bridge (São Bento metro station-and straight ahead), to Gaia Side and then just walk down until you reach the harbour.The view is stunning, it's like walking in a time machine. There are houses there more than 400 years old.
Try also at night, the view is unbeliveble, specially if take some frames from the top of the bridge.
