Let's have a closer look to that plant's stem...I was lazy yesterday and only took the F30. I'm stunned by the macro picture got from this small camera! The name of this plant is: Gunnera manicata, thanks to Jean Yves, this picture is for you.

The extremely short focal length and consequent very wide depth of focus make the small sensor cameras particularly well suited to macro shots. So its not at all surprising to me. But this is also a beautiful composition!....V

Il pousse des choses étranges à Paris... Les compacts sont d'excellentes alternatives pour la macro à cause de la très grande profondeur de champ et le peu d'ombre qu'ils génèrent... V
