This was a very interesting shot to work on. The auto white
balance made the image look the way one might expect it to
look. But in reallity the light was very green. I used the
white balance measurement feature and got this color which
is just what I saw in reallity.
Elder creek is a perennial tributary of the S. Fork of the
Eel River. It is unique in as much as its entire watershed (
approx. 4000 acres) is pristine. No logging has ever occurred
there. It is entirely undeveloped except for 3 trails. Today
it is the heart of Angelo Coast Range Reserve.
