It is a such an enviable dream for any photographer or even cinematographer to capture a very distinct experience, which is truly all its own in our widely diverse archipelago.
So even after realizing this dream in the islands up north last April-2006, every moment captured is still fresh in my memory bank and what is apparent is that I continue to be sleepless about Batanes.
The rolling hills of Batan, Sabtang's well-kept heritage and Itbayat's pure isolation are hands-down the most amazing adventure I was privileged to be part of. And top it with the most innocent, kindest and honest people on earth - this is not one bit an exaggeration.
Now, I promise myself to see more of Itbayat island the next time out - can't wait to get back, can't stop dreaming, a glimpse will never be enough...
Worse, this feeling will definitely haunt me for a looooong time.
