FACES of ILONGGOS

April 2006...

My twenty-day holiday was spent in my home-province, Iloilo, Philippines. I had been near and far but I never made a serious effort to take pictures of my provincemates, my people...the ILONGGOS. So this gallery is devoted to my roots, my people, my pride...the Ilonggos.

I went around the city to search for interesting faces. I took a cab and went to the towns to capture life around Iloilo. Here they are... the faces of (and life of the) Ilonggos.

At first, I thought you are hispanic. I was surprised to learn that you're Filipino. Nakibot pa gid ko pagkabalo ko nga Ilonggo ka man gali. Im really proud of you. Katahum gid sang imo mga pictures.
