BORACAY, PHILIPPINES: The Island Paradise (April 2003)
With my new Nikon Coolpix 4500, April 2003 would go down in my photographic history as my first serious attempt to take decent pictures.
There's no turning back. I have a Nikon D70 now.
Perhaps BORACAY Islands prompted me to take photography seriously. Maybe the charm of this island paradise awakened my dormant photographic eye.

These are great Pics of the natural beauty that really mesmerizes everyone that sees this site. Nice shot of Christine H. These pictures are all very masterful shots that it should be in an art gallery.
Going to the Philippines in about a week. One place we're going to check out is Boracay.. Let me go through and look at your pictures.. They look nice.. Do you often use a wide angle lense and a tripod?
Please let me view some of your beach umbrellas! I enjoyed viewing the pictures. thank you.
Nice photos and inspiring. Trying to be (I hope). I'll be in Boracay soon and try to get my shots.
boracay is the most island that i ever seen.
your boracay pics are wonderful!
If you ever published your coffee table book, let me know and I will be the first in line. I am definitely a fan of your work.
When a lot of people think of the philippines, they think of the slums of manila, and dont think about or know there are beautifull islands comparable to Tahiti. Its also unfortunate for the philippines that so many people are afraid to go there for fear of terrorist activity
i am learning alot looking at your shots. very creative!
i also have pics of boracay (as well as palawan and subic).
i hope i will be able to take shots just as nice in the future!
Having admired your work for several months now in trekearth.com (and you are undoubtly one of the best photographers of this community), it is a real pleasure to see some of your beautiful photographs grouped by themes here in pbase.
I am definitely sure that your sensibility and your professional eye will be very appreciated by all the ones who will have the chance to come across your portfolios.
Of course I suppose that this will be a never ending story because I know that you have several hundreds (or thousands) of photographs not yet posted, but one thing is certain, I will now pass by regularly to check out your recents adds here also.
What is amazing paradise beach in Philppines...I hope I will be there one day.
