Taleghan is the name of a geographical location in Iran. The Taleghan of Iran is a cluster of several small villages that are sorrounded by Alamoot region in Qazvin province from the west and the Alborz mountains from the north. The area is famous for its nice weather during the summer and cold winters.
he central town of Taleghan is called Shahrak i.e. the small town. A few of the several villages in Taleghan are: Gatteh-deh, Gazinan ,Gelinak, Geliard, Harandj, Hassanjoon, Joozan, Karkabood, Khosban, Kooladj, Minavand, Segran, segran-chall, Sefech-khani, etc.
