Hi Nelson, I read your page on peak 5950, which was a very good read! I just want to warn you that the link to the altitude sickness clinic in the end now directs to a domain that distributes trojans (computer and browser went on red alert as soon as I clicked), if you are able to remove that link that would be excellent for people who may not get that warning and get the trojan installed.
all the best, anders

Nelson,
Hi How are You? Remeber me?? Simon!! I joined you on the Mera Peak Trip in Oct 1994.
Well a trip i wont forget.I also recall you were also in company with a fellow american Ken???I made a full recovery with my broken legs (two compound fractures)It was a result of climbing the Mera La thus developing a servere headache. Carole the doc suggested i go back down. I decided this was the best solution. The weather simply got worse and i lost my bearings and slipped and fell on scree, rock and ice.
It took overall 18months for a full recovery.
Today i am a 42 yr old police officer with a lovely son and wife. I count my blessings to be so fortunate. I do hope that one day i will return to the Mera Peak to conquer it. I just longed to see the Everest Massif in 1994.
You have some amazing photos and i always remeber the "SNOW LEOPARD"
Regards to you
