Even though I don't play the cello (yet?), I couldn't resist this great deal I recently found on eBay, so I took the plunge and bought this slightly used, great quality, advanced amateur cello. It's one beautiful piece, ain't it -- my hack job photography notwithstanding? :-p

Still need to get a decent bow for it, but looks like I just might be committing myself to the cello much sooner than I expected even though I'm still just a rank beginner w/ the violin/viola so far. :-)

1/26/10 Update: Still haven't taken up the cello yet, :-p but my 10-yo boy might switch to that later this year (and maybe eventually use this cello himself). I did pick up some nice, used CodaBow Classic cello bows -- too many, in fact ;-p -- off eBay since acquiring the cello. If anyone's interested, I have a spare one (or two) to sell (w/ original bow case too).
