This walk was a bit special for Hutch.
When he was a younger man, he was browsing the books in his local library, when he came upon a volume of 'Walks for Motorists' in The Yorkshire Dales, which started him of on his carreer of tramping Yorkshire's footpaths.
Now, thirty something years later, he is about to complete the remaining outing (having saved it for just the right time)...the 'Panorama Walk from Dent'. Of course there have been many miles of walking in beween...and I have been honoured to accompany Hutch on some of them...so it was fitting that this walk turned out to be so special.
The good tracks, the weather, the lighting, the abundance of wild flowers...just about everything was spot on.
