A dusting of snow on the hills is all we've got so far. A cold dull dreary day but at least I got out of the house. Hot chocolate all round after walking Fudge.
We are making up for it here! As much as I like a good blanket of snow I always think that a light dusting brings out the best in revealing the landscape.
It made for a good scene, though. Others have already made most of the comments that I would have made, but I do like the colours here. The white of the snow is very pure and intense, the grey of the cloud very deep and speaking of excellent hot chocolate weather, and the greens and browns are well saturated.
If this is the view you see, I'd brave the cold and damp too. Beautiful scenic with the snow on the distant hills. The gray sky and low light add a moodiness. V.
There is plenty of winter to share the snow yet and it still looks good on these hills. I do like a good snowfall so I'm really enjoying ours while it lasts.
