Lily

These days, getting a pic for my PAD gallery consists of putting a macro lens on my camera and walking around the house looking for something of interest while home for lunch.
This curling lily petal caught my eye today and justifies buying flowers for myself in these recessionary times.

A-HA! So I was right, you HAVE treated yourself to a macro lens. Good, aren't they? I like this as it is, but I think it might have also been interesting do a second shot shifted to the right juuust a smidge to open up a gap between the end of the petal and the main body of it. It'd be interesting to see whether it brought out the depth a bit more.
