Mount Oliver

Once the home of the MacNeills, then a convent from 1935, now a nursing home, mostly for nuns returning from the missions in Africa, this house always reminds me of Tara from Gone With The Wind.

It reminds me of our "White House" but on a smaller scale.

A magnificent capture of this beautiful, historic building! Love the leading of the eye as well as the shadow cast by the post & rail fence! BV

The eye leading lines of shadow adds so much to this wonderful image. Helen has right, definitely "Gone with the Wind" feeling. V

Good memories. Gone With The Wind was the first movie my wife and I ever saw together. Of course, it was a rerun. :) This is a beautiful building and I love the point of view. V

An impressive house, not so sure I'd like to mow the lawn though.

Wonderful leading lines and color in this! And yes, I can see it as a setting for "Gone with the Wind"! V.
