Sunshine at last!

Just as I'd stored my summer clothes away and had even bought a new winter coat, the forecast announces that we
are to get an Indian summer. It's a most welcoming prospect after the coolest, wettest and most disappointing
summer in years. We are supposed to get unseasonably warm temperatures, up in the high teens, towards the
end of next week.
I haven't seen many butterflies this year. This small tortoiseshell was on some sedum at the Flower Market where
I met a friend for coffee this morning.

Such a pretty colorful shot! I hope your weather improves and you get a break from the rain. Get as much sun as you can, you can bank it for the long winter! V

That is a beautiful butterfly and you captured it very well. I think Newfoundland and Ireland have been getting the same weather. Our summer was cold and wet beyond belief but we are getting some nice days now.

Fingers crossed that the got the forecast right. Great colours here and well done for clicking the little chappy before it took off (I'm usually just too late).
