Connection

Took the camera with me as I took Fudge for his evening walk. I knew I
needed a photo for one of remaining words in the April Scavenger hunt
but I wasn't sure what I was after. Then I saw these starlings sitting on
an electricity pole and I thought 'connection'.
And now I'm thinking of all the connections I've made through Pbase,
people around the world whom I regard as friends, even if we never
get to share a cup of coffee and a chat outside this virtual world.

the pole and attendant cables are like a sculpture...all the richer with the bird sitting triumphantly on top...it's always great to share images with you Mairead, and with the many pbase friends...V

As long as the birdies don't connect with the current. Lovely shot; the silhouettes are very crisp and work well against the soft variations in the tones of the clouds. It was a good idea to position them against the lighter bands IMHO. And a nice story to go with it...
