I've been leaving my PAD 'til the last minute lately and then getting in a knot
looking for something to shoot.
So, today at lunchtime, I got out my macro lens, my new beads, and hey presto -
my Pad was out of the way. Although these are actually deep purple (nothing
to do with the rockers), I liked the desaturated look.
Purple is one of those colours that comes in and out of fashion every few years.
And much as I like clothes and style, I'm beginning to dislike fashion. I don't like
being told by some arbitrators of fashion, that I can't buy purple or red or blue
or green (the list goes on) clothes because that colour isn't in this season. I
don't like not being able to buy a long skirt because minis or fashionable or
vice versa. I've reached an age where I know what I like and don't need a designer
or sylist or fashion buyer to tell me what I should or shouldn't be able to buy.
Now, that's my rant for the day.
