Cold Sky

The cold fingers of winter edge across the horizon as the sun sinks low
in the sky. After a misty start to the day, we had more bright sunshine
but by late afternoon it was decidedly chilly.
My son and I just had time to take Fudge out for a walk while dinner
was cooking. Half an hour later, as we sat down to eat, I glanced out
the window and saw the sky aglow with a rosy hue.

I love your reference to the cold fingers of winter. Your prose is as pleasing as your pictures!
