I don't know what these insects are but there's a lot of them about and
there's going to be more! Somewhat appropriately they seem to like
these flowers which grow along a lane favoured by courting couples.
The unsettled weather is continuing. I had planned to spend the morning
gardening while our new pup Fudge played in the garden. Instead I
spent most of the time under a tree sheltering from the rain while
he happily explored on the wet lawn.
By late afternoon the sun finally appeared making
for hot and humid conditions.
