It was the May Bank Holiday here, bright and blustery. I was working as we
now have to each cover two Bank Holidays a year on the grounds, I suppose,
that news never sleeps. It wasn't too bad as I managed to arrange an interview with
a spritely 71 year old who is receiving an award for his contribution to the local
theatre scene over the years. So although I was working, it was more like having
a cup of coffee and a chat with an old friend. That and a few press releases which
came in over the internet kept me busy so time passed fairly quickly.
As I drove home, these blossoms outside a church in town caught my eye.
Normally there would be cars parked along the street but today it was
quiet, making it handy to pull over and get a pic.
