In the pink

Have just spent a frustrating hour (at least) trying to edit pics in Picasa. I
wanted to add text to a couple of images, first for the weekend challenge,
and second for a recipe book project a friend has organised on Facebook.
Although I could add text with Picasa, I couldn't get the white vignette I
wanted. It's in iPhoto but I decided to give up as my poor husband
is sitting on his own waiting for me to join him. (Well, actually he's
reading a book but I know I'm being anti-social). As I've spent
enough time on the computer already I'll have to catch up with
commenting tomorrow.

I have one word for you, just one word... Photoshop. A rather high contrast image compared to your usual ones (getting a bit more sun with the change of seasons, I expect), but it works well; the earthy tone of the pot on the left moderates the more brilliant tones of the flowers. Nice!
