Going to the dogs

My activities on Pbase have been going to the dogs lately. I've
been busy with other things and have fallen behind with
uploading and commenting. But I do enjoy the support and talent
here so I will catch up soon.
Went for a walk yesterday evening and met a former colleague
who was out exercising his greyhounds.

It does seem unnecessary, but I suppose he knows what he's doing. Pretty colors at least.

I know that feeling. It's odd that greyhounds (a breed that I've never met an ill-tempered version of) still have to wear these muzzles while other dogs (and some breeds in particular) don't. It made sense in the days when greyhounds were trained by having them chase live prey, but as far as I know those are long past. Nice, even light on this shot, and a good expression capture.
