'You have time for a quick walk before dinner', my husband told me when I came home from work.
'Right,' I replied, lacing up my walking shoes and grabbing my camera. 'You won't get far with
that,' he said. And he was right.
First, there were our neighbour's lambs frisking in the fields. Then I got chatting to another
neighbour who rightly guessed that I was out looking for something to shoot and remarked
that photography is a full time occupation.
Next I spotted these starlings gathering on the electricity wires. But I was on the wrong
side of the pole so I had go into a field to get it against the warm colours of the evening
sky.
Later, as I looked out the window I saw a really spectacular pink suneset as I was finishing
my dinner but I wasn't inclined to go rushing back out.
Like these birds, I'm thinking about roosting for the night.
