After days of clear blue skies and bright sunshine it was a bit of a shock
to wake up to a dull grey overcast sky this morning.
Although we are well used to rain in these parts, we've had an exceptionally
dry spring so far.
And I couldn't help laughing when I discovered that the St Patrick's Day
Parade in Dundalk, Maryland (which owes its name to our Dundalk) which
was scheduled for Saturday had been cancelled because heavy rain was
forecast. If the St Patrick's Day Parade in Ireland was cancelled because
of rain it would never take place.
