Snow, snow, everywhere, but no time to take snaps.
There's more snow in Oldham than I've seen in at least a decade. Where we live
near the sea on the Irish east coast gets very little snow, maybe a dusting of
flakes once a year if we're lucky. Any experience our son has had of building
snowmen or sledging has been on Christmas holidays to his grandmother in Oldham.
But now he's too old to be moved by snow so it's my turn to get excited as I ponder
all the photo opportunities it presents.
It's Christmas Eve, however, and there's last minute shopping to be done so I just
had time to take this pic of a snow laden branch in my mother-in-law's garden
before venturing into the crowded shops.
