Sunshine again but there's a hint of winter about. The clocks went back an hour so the evenings
will be dark when I get home from work - not sure where that leaves my efforts to get a fresh
pic every day.
Making the most of weather, we went for a walk in Rockmarshall forest. It's a Coillte or state run
forest so it's mostly conifers which didn't make for much autumn colour apart from the withering
bracken and fading heather. It's a good place for walking though, with lots of trails but we only
met two people, a man out walking with his MP3 player and his dog and a woman running.

Yes, exit the outdoor landscapes and enter the indoor still life work. Never mind another month or so and the days are getting longer again.

A beautiful shot of this wonderful place to walk. I'd leave my MP3 player home though! I'd rather listen to the sound of the wind in the pines.

Gorgeous scene, Mairead. You live in a beautiful area. I really enjoy the views of
your local landscape. V

It looks like a gorgeous spot for a walk... we have another week until the clocks go back and it is already getting dark so early! How long until summer?? :)

I was out early walking the dog and even tho damp it was so mild and pleasant with the araoma of damp autumn leaves that covered the ground.(Cheshire UK)
A pleasant afternoon along the canal too to feed the ducks and swans, but regretably it went dark far toooooooo early.
We've been promised a fairly mild week Mairead with wednesday being sunny...they say.!
At least these dark evenings will give you the chance to practice your nightime shots.
Some lovely countryside where you live.

Pretty scene, Mairead. I would have thought more people would be out and about today. The US is doing daylight savings time next weekend. I don't like the time change, because it is dark when I leave work at 6 p.m. Sigh....

Gee we don't set our clocks back until next weekend.
