This is the season of wisteria in full blossom and there are so many of them, here in Nyon, which I like visiting regularly, as one might visit good old friends, to see if they are well...

After the heavy rains of the last days, my wisteria friends have suffered a little and their purple flowers are not that fluffy anymore.

Nevertheless they have the melancholy and powerful beauty of a mature woman a minute before the beginning of her slight decline.

I could not impose on you 12 photos of wisteria today, so I chose only one, among all the ones I have taken during my walk.
